From the Desk of Father Cárdenas
On this 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Church presents to us in the parable of the two sons a simple yet profound teaching. A father asks his two sons to go and work in his vineyard.
The first responds with a firm "no," but later, filled with regret, sets out to work. The second responds with great courtesy and promptness, "Yes, sir, I will go," but never sets foot in the field.

En este domingo XXVI del tiempo ordinario, la Iglesia nos presenta en la parábola de los dos hijos una enseñanza sencilla pero penetrante.
Un padre pide a sus dos hijos que vayan a trabajar a su viña. El primero responde con un rotundo "no", pero más tarde, arrepentido, se pone en marcha. El segundo responde con gran cortesía y prontitud: "Sí, señor, voy", pero jamás pone un pie en el campo.
