Healing Mass

Healing Mass

The next quarterly Healing Mass, will be on Monday, September 14th at 7:00 pm in church.

The Mass, which will include the bestowal of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, is especially designed for those who are seriously or terminally ill, those who are approaching or recovering from surgery, and those burdened by the weight of years.

Please join us as we pray for the gifts of healing and hope.

Annual Blessing of Animals

On Saturday, October 3rd, at 10:00 am at the parking lot in front of the Church Office, Saint Gregory will again offer the annual Saint Francis Day blessing of animals.

Bring your dogs, cats, birds, gerbils, rabbits and other pets to receive a prayerful blessing and to be sprinkled with Holy Water in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi and his love of animals.

Each owner will receive a Saint Francis holy card and medal to mark the occasion. All are welcome.

Prayerful and Engaging Study of Casti Connubii

Join us for a prayerful and engaging study of Casti Connubii, Pope Pius XI’s beautiful encyclical on Christian marriage. Over the course of ten sessions, couples will come together to read, reflect, and discuss the Church’s timeless wisdom on the vocation of marriage.

Together, we will explore God’s plan for married love, the grace and beauty of the Sacrament of Matrimony, the call to faithful and fruitful love, the family as the ―domestic church,‖ and the path to holiness through married life. Through prayer, conversation, and reflection, couples will deepen their understanding of their vocation, strengthen their relationship with one another, and grow closer to Christ - the source and foundation of their love.

Pastor's Lecture Series

Adult catechesis continues at Saint Gregory with Father Davis offering his 13th Pastor's Lecture Series presentation, this time entitled "Eschatology: The Study of the Last Things, the End of Time, and the Afterlife."

There will be five successive Tuesdays, during which Father will offer an hour and a half lecture, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, on the following dates: October 20, October 27, November 3, November 10, and November 17.

Each lecture will be held in the church. All are welcome.
