Intercessory Prayer for the Sick

If you would like to make a prayer request for someone who is ill and in need of spiritual support, please contact our prayer-request-line at: prayers4thesickatsaintgregory@gmail.com.

These requests are immediately placed on the altar table of the priests' private chapel, where the intentions will be remembered in prayer when evening Vespers are prayed. The prayers will also be included in the prayer intentions of the Divine Mercy Cenacle each day at 3:00pm in the Gazebo.

Parishioners can also assist in the prayer ministry by praying for the sick during the "Prayer of the Faithful" at Mass, as well as in the context of their personal prayers for those whose names are listed in our weekly parish bulletin.

The mission of this ministry is to pray for the needs of all people of our parish, our country and the world, through the intercession and guidance of our Holy Mother the Virgin Mary; we unite with her through the prayer of the Holy Rosary.

  • We pray for the sick, every morning in the Gazebo after the 8:30am Mass;
  • For our country: Monday through Saturday in the Gazebo at 3:30pm. (On Thursdays and Saturdays, we pray at 2:30pm)

Vocations

Primarily a ministry of prayer, the support of religious vocations to the diaconate, priesthood, and consecrated life is an important need for our Church today and the future advancement of the Gospel of Christ.

We make the ground fertile for vocations by praying for an increase of vocations, raising consciousness of the need to pray for, identify, and inspire individuals from our parish and families to consider responding to the Lord’s call to holy service. We help coordinate event which promote vocations. And we also encourage the Vocation Chalice Program, where families pray for vocations in their homes.
