Each year, Saint Gregory conducts its Angel Tree program. Typically, Christmas trees are set up in the church vestibule the weekend after Thanksgiving, with tags on the trees representing approximately 12 organizations. These are organizations that help underprivileged children, children who are hospitalized, as well as residents of nursing homes.
Each year, we help fulfill an average of 1,800 to 2,200 gift requests from those organizations. Saint Gregory parishioners look forward each year to choosing tags and bringing those gifts to church. These gifts help the eventual recipients feel the love of Christ and know that they are not forgotten during the special season of Christmas.

Nursing Home Ministry
The mission of the Nursing Home Ministry is to visit and meet the spiritual needs of the residents of the West Broward Rehab Center. This need is met by volunteers who bring residents to the facilities activity room every Friday morning for a service of The Word and the distribution of Holy Communion by a commissioned Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
These Ministers of Holy Communion also go to the rooms of the Catholic residents who are bed-bound, so that they too can receive the benefits of prayer and Holy Communion. Our most important responsibility is to bring the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ, to our brothers and sisters who are ill and sometimes very lonely.
Once a month, a priest from Saint Gregory celebrates Mass at the Center and visits any resident who has requested to see him.
New contact person, soon to be appointed.
